Napa Eclipse caliper on the passenger side. The driver side caliper was defective (poor QC...), so I had to run to the local O'Reilly's and pick up one of their remains. Going to uninstall it later and hit it with some black high-temp caliper paint and call it good.

My passenger side headlight sprung a leak, so I replaced it with a new one today. Haven't had to do this since I had my 2007 Taco. Was easier than I remember, even with that PITA bolt up up in the wheel well. Took about 30 mins taking my time.

That sounds exactly like a master cylinder starting to fail. IMO

Corolla's are made in Japan. Tacomas are made in the US.

People that don't like the 2nd don't allow quality paint to be used in the US as they would rather us carry defibrillators.

When larger diameter rotors with calipers that hold significantly more fluid than stock are installed most people get what they consider to be a mushy feeling pedal with minor actual braking improvement. The reason is because they're moving more fluid with the same diameter piston/cylinder inside the master cylinder.

Other people will change the master cylinder to one that moves more fluid but then need huge calves in order to stop quickly.

    The cure is:

Half of all Tacomas came from Mexico as of last year. As of a few months ago they are all produced in Mexico.

Corollas for the N. American market were produced in Canada and Mississippi. For the '20 model and up it's Mississippi and a few from Japan. Ours was assembled in Canada

I was just saying to somebody yesterday how I would be super psyched if somebody did the exact o
Mine don't feel mushy (or, at least, any less mushy than the OEM brakes), but I'll think about making that upgrade anyway. Thanks!

    2) Replace the license plate lights with LEDs after some jackhole backed into the Tacoma

Another project I’ve been putting off has been checked off the list. Welded up and installed some JD Fab spindle gussets today.

I have an MBRP on my truck as well (that I also painted black). I was surprised how good and not-drony it sounded for being grade-A Chinese-ium. And I mean good for a Tacoma, the 1GR-FE almost always sounds like ass, but I like it.

Yeah it doesn't sound too "farty" but it's only a v6 so you can only expect so much.
