Not even 200 miles on it and a drunk leaving the bar drove into it. He obviously took off. Dealer is a month out for repairs too.

That sucks! I'm sorry man, what a bummer.

Time for an offroad bumper! Or, you could try the hot water trick to take that dent out in the meantime.

Well %$#%$#&% that lowly b@starf!!! - that sucks.

I do not think there are any hard bits under there. Can you get it to a warm spot and maybe help it with judicious placement of a heater for an hour or two?? - With a bit of luck, it will be all just deformed plastic and it may pop out cleanly.

Here's my advice as someone who used to be in the dirty crooked bodyshop biz.

Plastic bumper repairs are normal and do not fail a car on higher dollar auctions.

But if there's any sheet metal paintwork then you'll take a big hit on resale as soon as buyers hit it with a paint meter.

Try a good PPF shop, they usually have great contacts on paintless dent pair, wheel repair, bumper repair guy, etc.

If you claim it it most likely will show on your carfax or autocheck. Bumpers are not worth claiming unless you are prepared to take a big hit on resale similar to having big sheet metal claim.

That sucks man I'm sorry that happened to your taco. If I were you I would warm that thing up and just pop the dent out from the inside. Or bring it to someone for painless dent removal. That is minor so I would avoid going through insurance at all costs. It shouldn't cost much to fix even if you bring it somewhere and it's not worth having a blemish on its record

Agreed, it really sucks...but in the long run a clean report looks better than an accident as most people assume it was hit by a freight train when it was a bumper push in. Carfax has gotten better noting what was damage, if towed or driven away, etc. but not always when there is an accident report..

Yup, exactly why avoiding insurance whenever you can is worth it

Stick your hand inside the bumper through the top and pop it out. I hit a log when wheeling with my oem bumper right under the fog light and it looked worse than that. We were able to pop it right out without any spider web cracking of the paint as well. I bet all you'll need to do is buff any clear coat marring afterwards.

My eyes cannot see the tire size. What are you running there? Any spacers on the wheels? Really dig that look.

    Running 285/70 R17 tires.

Did a factory TRD lift when I bought it to give it a 2" front lift and a 1" back lift. Once I added the tires it was closer to a 3 and 2 lift to even it out. No spacers.
