That sounds like a fantastic idea. I'd love to get out of Tahoe but it starts hell week for me next week Presidents week everybody will be here.

On the flip side of that, it's a beautiful day up here today. 55° like spring.

I wish you didn't mention that calibrator lol. Would make swapping speedo gears obsolete.

It has made swapping gears obsolete there's absolutely no point to do it if you have a digital style speedometer. My Land Cruiser has a digital one but my Tacoma has a cable still and it's newer lol

It’s decent land. I’ll probably be going forward with this if they’ll play at my offer.

Does it perc? Or city utilities?

I attempted to understand purchasing land to build on. Too complicated, too many regulations.

Propane. City water though. Odd combo. It’s residentially zoned. I could build dam near anything I want.

Will anyone finance you to build what you want though, lots of places hate that because people are finicky and the return is spotty.

Im going to talk to the bank tomorrow. But they seem to have no problem giving out a mortgage for a small house to be built. I’ll probably do a small stick frame and build. A pole barn a couple years down the line.
    Unless they’ll fund a barndominium

Gonna be awhile unless you wanna spend $6 per stud.

I think last I heard around here its up to $250/sq ft for building. And thats cheapo contractor grade stuff too.

Beautful dude. If my ex-smoker lungs could handle that altitude, I'd love to retire up there. Fish on that lake everyday would be my plan. Nothing beats Tahoe imo. Absolutely nothing.

Building prices are going fucking nuts

I have heard quotes of $400 or more per square foot to rebuild the homes lost in the Marshall fire here :bananadead:

Sadly it won’t be going down and with inflation as bad as it is I’d rather get a loan now rather than later
