I am looking for a moderate lift. Truck only sees camping trails and off road maybe 5 times a year. Nothing extreme.

I will most likely stick with my 265/70 KO2 for now. Didn’t really see the need for 5160s. Only thing I’m thinking of changing is block kit to icon AAL 1.5?

Shit looks confusing to me. Don't the 6112's come with springs and top hats and run around 7-800 for the pair, but they are charging you extra for the springs?

I know that you are not getting the blocks but 160 for $50 blocks - jesus

what line are you referring to? I think it’s not for the springs but the rear 5100s (second line with B as part number)

Where are you seeing the eibach block for $50?

sorry, guess im looking at it wrong, second line is the 5100's in the rear.

I was just saying that 1" blocks are all pretty much the same and usually cost around 50 for them.

    Looks expensive.

    UCAs for $700? Nope.

Is this a dealership quoting? I hate when shops do this. Just quote the damn parts and then give me your quote on labor.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
Doesn't look terrible, but if you could do it yourself, you would save quite a bit of coin.

yeh it was for one. The pricing is fine I just was looking for feedback on 5100s in rear with block vs. a leaf pack. Looks like I’m going to go with the leaf pack and 5160s.

the only labor I’m paying for is the alignment. It has to be put on every work order for the service manager to look at.

Funny you say that because I’m looking at doing the same with the nitro chargers out back. I already switched the block out for the medium Dakar leaf pack. How do you like the kit and has it sagged any ? The springs are what worry me most

agree He doesn't need UCAs at all.

I have 6112/5160 on my 2021 and there was no need for UCAs.

How much caster do you plan on getting after an alignment with the aftermarket UCAs vs max caster with stock UCAs? That would be a good question to get answered by the shop doing the install..

Some aftermarket UCAs may help fit larger diameter tires by allowing more caster adjustment (moving tire forward in the wheel well), however not all aftermarket UCAs provide the same results..

You should also consider what rims you will be using and the width/offset of those rims if 285s are your objective..

In your initial post you said 265s for tires.

This was an initial quote for my own records with things I wanted information on really and to be fair the shop did not push the UCAs on me. Said I can decide at time of install what to do since the 6112s are on backorder. I currently like my 265/70 which I why I said that in the post but most likely will go to 285s on a 16 inch wheel. Eventually.

The only thing I really know I want are the 6112 up front. I am unsure the standard 5100s in the rear will work with OME leaf pack (#EL111R) since they go to 2 inches.

I am now looking for input on that, to go with 5125, B110 or just do what everyone else does, 5160.

not sure they’re junk but you’re probably right. Tried and true and actually in stock.
