My Tacoma is basically worth what my dad paid for it in 2009; It's probably gonna have 300K miles on it before I buy a new truck...

My next door neighbor passed away a week or so ago, not sure what his son is planning but hope the land doesn't get broken into parcels.

Right it's a beautiful brick house, would hate to see a trailer thrown up in the land between our houses.

 

What if they build normal houses?

 

His property is about 15 acres, the big brick house, a detached 5 or 6 car garage, and a little cottage house. Hoping the new owner just wants to keep it as is.

 

500k for a chicken coop! Lined up like an assembly line for tax payers and noise makers, no thanks!

 

I actually agree with you there; It's fucking obscene!

For $500K, I'd want something like this!

 

Its funny how prices can be so different, l am expecting my neighbors place would go for around $250K for everything.

for that price I’d expect an elevator. 3 flights of stairs is a no no. Imagine hauling groceries up a them every week. The garage is nice touch though.

 

The townhouse my parents bought new in 2007 was more like a traditional single-family home inside, and my bedroom was 12x16!

 

Shit like granite counters comes standard, but keep in mind that that prices listed are just base prices; Judd is a pretty high-end builder, and they allow fairly high-end customization, so I'm guessing that a lot of these are gonna be closer to $600K

 

ouch. Yeah I do recall those custom home builders nickel and diming ya. That base price gets you 4 walls and maybe a door

 

My parents' 4-bedroom single-family home, built in 2016, is worth almost $840K!
