    For the most part, this is actually a myth. The rates are not that much better considering I still drive in NJ (they are aware of it too.) You also have to pay 1% of your yearly salary in taxes to your county, so in the end any savings on insurance is pretty much negated by the taxes. As I said, the best part is that any tickets issued outside of PA (with or without points) is not recognized and does not go on your driving record at all. I must have tallied AT LEAST 30 points with NJ since I've been driving (10 years or so) but my abstract comes back completely clean everytime I check it.
