Soft topper folds down so you can still fit oversized things in the bed without removal. I want one because i use my bed too much for a hard top but dont want it bad enough for the price tag

@Lumberjackcoma had his rtt hidden under his soft topper for a while. Real nice looking setup and something I’d consider if i did more road tripping since theft is something i worry about when leaving the truck somewhere to hike.
Gear out of sight is less likely to get stolen.

You can get bed bars that wrap around a softtopper incase you do need that - on-cap storage

it's an option i wanted to explore - but since i have already modified the bed sides, a typical softtopper wont fit.

otherwise 10/10 would do as well

It's the BRMB web app. Waiting for Gaia to get it and I broke and got a BRMB subscription. Couldn't wait and using the Ontario Govt atlas is annoying.

How tall is the soft topper?

That setup has me wondering if I can pull it off with my ORO rack.

I got so excited when I started reading that article... then when it came to light what it really is... ffs lunchbag letdown is an understatement.

This came to mind immediately ...

I'm gotta talk to ORO see if I get that rack higher.

The more I think about the softtopper under the rack is a pretty good idea.
