I have the day off from work today and went to Faulkner Honda (formerly Keenan Honda) in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to look around; Prices are so obscene that they won't even list them on the window stickers, but for example they've got a 2014 Ford Fusion with over 107K miles and a 2016 Chevy Silverado with almost 90K miles. The vehicles are in good shape, but I still haven't come to terms with the fact that high-mileage used vehicles are selling for new vehicle prices. I primarily went to Faulkner to see their collection of vintage Hondas, like this JDM 1981 Honda Acty...

Beautiful 2016 Silverado, but it's not 4WD and it has almost 90K miles; They're probably asking about $30K for it...

I was close; I would spend $27K for this before I spent $29K on the 2020 Corolla LE I saw at Sloane Toyota last month!

And the 2014 Fusion; Didn't even bother to check the price on this one...

And for those of you who don't live around here, this is the story behind Faulkner Honda; It was originally built as Mercedes dealer probably 20-25 years ago, and the Mercedes dealer was also part of the Keenan Motors family. Mercedes-Benz corporate did not like the style of the building and decided close to ten years ago to force Keenan to build a Mercedes-approved dealer; They fined Keenan like $100K a year until they built the new dealership, which went up on a vacant lot around the corner. Keenan sold the former Honda dealer to Fred Beans, who refurbished it and turned it into a Subaru dealer; The Honda dealer was moved into the former Mercedes dealer, and it was appropriately renovated. This is what the Honda dealer currently looks like like...

This is what it looked when it was Keenan Mercedes; A beautiful building that was rented out by an area high school for senior prom a few times!

    Morning friends.

Today was a bittersweet day, the last day I am driving my beloved first taco to work, as tomorrow I am selling it to someone in upstate NY. I have been driving my 2022 TRD sport manual, and let me tell you that the 4.0L with 254,419 miles is still a better engine.

I am going to miss this truck.

Does this dealer have a couple of these classic Honda's in the showroom? A friend of mine years back sold his Phoenix Yellow Integra Type R with 20K on it to ta dealer that just wanted to keep it in their showroom but i cant remember what dealer it was.

@Arcticelf has a shop but I am not sure that this is the sort of work that he does.

Pennsylvania peeps: Does anyone happen to have a turd gen:
    - OEM or bakflip tonneau cover
    - oem bed divider
    - predator side steps

Wish these came on the truck when I bought it, but I didn't have much of a choice. I am sure some folks got these parts and did not want them lol

I do agree the 4.0L was the better motor. But with emissions and efficiency I can see why it went to the wayside. I get better fuel mileage out of my '21 compared to my old '09.

Yeah I expect I will see better gas mileage for sure. Only 100 miles on the new one so far. Getting used to the 6MT shifting patterns. A tune should help, too. Might get a KDMax tune this weekend
