    My dad also doesn't think it will be totaled, but he hinted that he would help me out with a replacement truck if it does get totaled since I can't afford a replacement truck in today's market and this was not my fault.

    even if the truck did get totaled id buy it back and fix it and just keep it as a cheap good workin little truck

    just a couple of things tbh
    ive owned a few and so has my family no issues with them tbh the only issue ive seen is resale or some states wont allow it but other then that no issues. you get them fixed and then inspected and the title will go from salvage to prior salvage. or just do what i did and buy them fixed lol ive owned 1 my dad 3 mom 2 sis 1 so we have had a few and they all ran great and had no issues we still own two of them and one we gave to my grandparents

    that one i wouldnt know i do remember seeing a few post about people rebuilding them and fixing them up but i dont know the names sorry.

    overall the only time to worry about resale is if you start thinking about getting rid of your truck which i still toss that idea around a lot lately...
