Haven't even finished the design yet. Trying to get that done by the end of the month, which leaves 1.5 months for parts to arrive. Nothing like pushing it to the wire...

You'll have to imagine them behind the slew of doors. Concessions had to be made for all of the structural components holding the stern together.

Upper deck behind the bridge will have the captain's cabin and a head, though

Probably spent way too much time on this and definitely stayed up too late, but I figured out how to add a couple storage lockers and I'm really happy with the result

I’ve been thinking about the shift toward collectible and less playable/raw building material shift too. My kids got a bunch of Harry Potter sets for Christmas, and while it would be cool if they keep them intact, I try to remind myself that there play will be limited if they don’t break them apart and use them.

No concessions on my 2nd grader’s most recent Titanic. It’s solid inside and ready to go straight to the bottom of the Brick Atlantic.

Wasn't that bad. Someone in a Facebook Lego group suggested to use the brick separator when applying the decals. I did and it made all the difference in the world. Just place the decal on the end and then it's easier to line up.
