It's a really handy tip. For smaller stickers I use a minifig sword.

I finished the TV to complete this Nintendo set. The screen is on a track that wraps around some Technic-looking parts which are attached to gears and rods that link up to the crank on the side. When you turn that crank, the screen moves. It’s pretty cool to see in action.

All those mostly single bricks that went on the screen took a while, especially with my OCD trying to keep them from being crooked.

I need to get the Stormtrooper helmet soon. I'm not sure about the new helmets coming out. The Luke Skywalker one looks interesting, but the Dark Trooper and The Mandolorian ( aka cheap Boba rip off ) meh! I 'm waiting until March for the McLaren F1.

Never been a collector of the brickheads but I do love toy story. Just wish woody and bo weren't packaged together. I just want woody and buzz.

i usually grab a couple straight pins from my sewing stuff.
the silver stickers on the space shuttle cargo bary doors were a PITA. none of them are straight. working on the curved pieces made it impossible

    You’re not alone.

This article mentions the use of soapy water to apply those stickers. I’ve heard of this before but have never tried it. See tip 4:
    https://www.carstickers.com/blog/post/apply-your-sticker-like-a-pro/

Although it’s for cars, I’m sure the same principles apply.
