Yeh I have Ryobi 40v trimmer and blower. I'd use the saw for some firewood and yard maintenance. I'd like to get another battery. I love no more mixing gas, the smelly clothes, breathing the smoke. Yuk

I love not having to spend an hour cursing to get it running the next season lol it does go through battteries if you have alot of cutting but if just fire wood/home use/ trail brush trimmer its awesome. I mainly bought it to clear trails so i didnt have to carry premix. I already carry all my 40v batteries when offorading for the 40v inverter i have for charging stuff.

As much as people disagree in this thread with dumb crap, still better than the MY22 discussions over on tundras.com :anonymous::crapstorm: lmao

Would you happen to have the model of your saw? I will eventually carry it in the Land Cruiser when she gets back running for trail clearing.

What i dont understand about the tacoma ev opposition is why is it a bad thing. Toyota already has expressed that it sees its primary future in hybrids , not full ev, but theres no harm in having an ev option

Toyota loyalty is in their ICE engined trucks since they came to America. Its the change from that 'security blanket' of knowing what they are getting and not the unknown of an electric powertrain. Also the bad info on charging and price. I get that change is hard for some but instead of informing themselves it's easier to troll on EV's rather than accept them and the facts about EV's.

I am really interested in charging off the grid. If you could cut costs by using solar panels, windmills or even water paddles that would be great. That would be a huge selling point for me. I was thinking something like a Jackery but with attachments more charging options. I really am interested in the lil FJ EV. Not getting rid of my 2nd gen or 3500 flatbed anytime soon but having a vehicle for flying around town and work errands it would work for me.

I was thinking like no rate. Lol. Our camp is fully off grid with solar and we run washer/dryer, hot water etc. Then my friends small farm is also off grid using a windmill and water paddles. I do not see why you can't do a vehicle.

I have only seen one 22 Tundra on the road, and I have not seen it lately. I'm going to assume that truck is at the dealership with wastegate or turbo issues.

Maybe it was a dealer demo and someone bought it, or maybe the owner does not have to travel the same daily route any longer.

I'm going to go with mechanical issues.

You may need a 'power wall' type storage solution for that. There are calculators for all renewables on how to design them for off grid charging.

They have one locally at our dealership. It was ordered and they did not want it. Kinda ugly.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I'm sure that electricity can never become more expensive.
