South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

I know I’m late seeing this… work, sleep, work. This is one of the reasons I started doing travel nursing. How I was treated. I got so burnt out where I was and being treated like crap. Now I’m making more working three nights a week than I was working 5. Being able to spend more time with my son, family, not dealing with the politics has been a win win for me.

I don’t mind at all. Your SIL should look in to it. There are options to staying fairly local.

 

How I feel knowing my wife is making three digits per hour, 12-14hr shifts, 4 days a week.

We did! Rescue 16 has been in service for about a year and a half now. Fouts Bros equipment mounted a rescue body onto the chassis we had. Bought new extrication tools and a full set of stabilization struts last year.

That is great! Hopefully all those plates of BBQ folks were mowing down helped you guys out! Definitely some good Q. Hopefully we can get back out there next time!

And this right here is what folks is up in arms about. Heaven forbid you have a good work/life balance and can afford to do better for your family.
