I miss Quiznos, that place was so much better than Subway

There's still one in the airport here.

It's probably not as good as you remember it.

But Subway does set a low bar.

Yeah especially being in an airport lol, it's like the bastardized express version

Quiznos always had those conveyor belt toasters which did a way better job of toasting than that stupid oven Subway uses that "toasts" it in 20 seconds

but yeah Subway sets a low bar indeed. Kind of crazy to think of how big that company is despite it's quality and the whole "our mascot turned out to be a pedo" fiasco. I've heard they're way bigger internationally than here so that's probably why

also when you're on a road trip and your only two fast options are...gas station food or Subway, I usually go Subway

I think that's the only time I've eaten Subway in the past decade or so: When I'm in the middle of a 1000 mile drive making a "the gas tank is empty so now I get to eat and use a restroom" stop. Subway's still perfect for that.

I hit up GearCruncher and his opinion is the output shaft bearing is toast and will need to be replaced (based on my video). As for the damage to the mounting hole, he also thinks it can be carefully drilled out and filed smooth.

This morning I heard back from the seller. As expected, response was to offer an initial credit back of $100. After uploading pics of the shipping box (seller requested) AND pointing out that upon closer examination his own listing pic shows the damage to the case, he replied back with a second offer to credit back 80%. Essentially, this thing would cost me $60 if I took his 80% credit.

I have to check the steps on removing and pressing a new output shaft bearing before replying back to his second offer.
