Just bought myself a new Tacoma! 2015 TRD Pro 4x4 double cab with 5' bed and a 2" lift. Giddy with excitement that I have this new toy to build on and have fun with! I have bigger ideas over the next few years, but hit me with some relatively inexpensive mods I can make sooner rather than later!

Welcome! I have to say a bed mat is a game changer if you do not have one. I got mine delivered to the house for like $80.00. From local Toyota Dealer. They were running a sale plus free shipping. Check your local dealers first. And Welcome! :hattip:I've done many mods as you can see!

    Welcome aboard:hattip:

Ultimate headlight upgrade is relatively cheap and is a huge improvement over stock.

I concur. Weathertech digital fit Floorliners or floor mats (secured to the floor hooks), and RedLine Tuning hood QuickLift kit are great additions (with great customer support). Removing the prop rod is a beautiful thing!

For LED lighting, check out VLEDS at Bellingham, WA (vleds.com), expensive, but well engineered LED lighting. They're recommended by AMD, a Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician in the Chicagoland Rust Belt, who loves his Tacoma and other models. He and his wife produce The Car Care Nut channel on YouTube with an excellent series of episodes on the Tacoma systems, maintenance and repair.

    Welcome to TW!

In general, shoving an LED retrofit bulb into a halogen housing is frowned upon on TW.

OP Your getting some attention. Good for you. Got weather techs in the wife's Corolla they do the job but are hard and stiff. Got Husky's (Top of the line edition) and I must say they are VERY Good! I Wouldn't trade them.

For me, step one, before it gets home is a good quality alarm. Or I could wake up and find it missing. I know many in here will insist how evil aftermarket alarms are.

I’ve heard good things about ceramic tint. I didn’t know it existed until after I already got mine done.

If it still has the stock radio and speakers, chuck those crappy speakers. You’ll thank me later.

I’ll repeat, maintenance. Fluids, spark plugs, clean maf sensor and throttle body. Look through the stickies for instructions.

Tell us what drive train it is. V6, I4, manual or auto transmission.

    Congratulations and welcome.

I'd want a SLIGHTLY more aggressive tire. The size on it looks OK to me. Just don't get too carried away with anything too drastic. Other than that buy gas for trips.

That doesn't look like a TRD Pro. Perhaps a TRD Sport, although the bed decal appears to say TRD Off Road (but hard to tell in that pic between the angle/glare).

Yeah silver was not a pro color - white, red, black
Someone has been fooling with the trucks identity. Does it have a locker?

Not to mention the rims, grille, etc. If I'm OP I'm heading straight to the Toyota VIN Lookup (https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification) to verify. Seems we've had a few of these cases here recently on TW with new members finding out that their recently purchased Tacoma was not the actual model the seller/dealer claimed it to be.
