Hm. Sadly, more data points that solidifying my decision to get the Relentless Fabrication one.

 

You will not be disappointed. I’ve had my relentless fab reinforcement for nearly 6 years and it’s good as new.

 

As much as I'd like to just move along, I paid for a new one, i expect one that doesn't have sharpie marks on it covering up scratches.

 

I gave up. I took the thing to Line-X, they dipped it, encapsulated it and it has been great ever since. Fifty bucks, I didn't like paying for it but I do like the results. Several years, no rust, no damage.

 

If they came with rhino or line-x and compatible with the A.R.E caps I'd be interested for sure

 

Your cap is new, the guys at the powder coater hit a pallet of the caps with a fork truck and made two identical marks in a bunch of caps, then covered it with a paint pen and sent them to us.

We have been sifting out the bad ones but apparently one got past us and got shipped.

We can send a replacement. In the future if you have a customer service issue, an internet forum is not the best place to address it. Email us at support@kbvoodoo.com and we respond right away, or just call. We hardly ever check forums.

 

His cap was damaged, it is not an indication of "problems with powder coat". We haven't had powder coat problems in years.

Completely unhappy with product. With this large gap it's impossible to properly close ARE DCU Utility Canopy.

I texted and called multiple times to try resolve my problem how it's fit. No respond how I can fix issues. By your return policy you not accepted used item. Before placed order I mentioned that I order this set to make waterproof seal for canopy. But there's was zero advice that it's maybe don't work with canopy. After installation it's don't provide proper fit for canopy. Multiple people in topic asked to eliminate gap. How understand this topic not only about how accurate description of product as well how it's good or bad in use. And because you don't provide any help me in private message I decided to give advice to other people in case they want order this. That it might be not working in all applications.

Continue to my previous post. If you install complete bed rails covers and tailgate cap. You need mount your tailgate cap al lower as possible for possibility properly close canopy. I removed both gasket from Tailgate Cap, unscrew 2 bolts from top of tailgate, drilled 2 holes for them and mounted cap with out any gap between tailgate and cap. I asked KB Voodoo about possibility to make tailgate cover with out gap, but they unfortunately don't wanted.
