I'm not 'shoulding' on everything with the kid thing. It's a personal call, it's certainly not for everyone.

We're having a ball because we told work a couple months before delivery "Fuck off, we're going part time to raise this kid, we'll let you know when or if we'll come back to full time and what the price would be at that time".

I STILL don't know how people work full time and have kids, i.e. what pretty much everyone does. That seems insane to me. I tip my hat to those parents, because I would've died.

Kids go to school, parents work. It’s not terribly complicated

    Not until they're 5 they don't.

Also the work thing: I was never terribly fond of it to begin with. I agree with Kiyosaki: "Why don't we just learn about money so I can skip the job part?"

what do you mean its easy, all yous gotta do is...

wake up at 5 am to cook breakfast
    get the baby ready
    get yourself ready
pack up the baby's daily needs
    bring baby to baby sitter
go to work for 9 hours
    pick up baby after work
clean poopy diapers for 4 hours before putting baby to bed

    rinse/repeat

who wouldnt want to be a parent?

I agree, working is overrated. Just something to do to pass the time. I appreciate the many benefits of a quality daycare.

We do 2 days a week for socialization, immunization, and separation.

40hr/week is, in my opinion, probably too much time away from family to be ideal. Plus Id rather pay that cost by working less, since wages not earned are before-tax dollars whereas purchased child care is after-tax dollars.

We both have 1 day off a week, so we send them 3 days most weeks. Works well

Labors of love, to be sure. Nothing else would be a sufficient motivator.

Our daily routine looks substantially different, but our path is not feasible for most due to dumb luck.

Over 5M volume pre-market? This could get good.

They are used to calculate the opening of all the averages. It's really the only reason I watch them.
