Remove the cubby panel by the driver's side, the connector is attached to it, no switch but you could purchase one and add it.

switch connector would be (retained) in same spot where switch would go.

Sorry to ask, I guess I’m confused.
What is the purpose of the connector and plug? Am I mixing things up?
Is this needed to connect the LEDs bed lights harnesses/connectors from the panel / cargo switch under the driver side?
I’m asking because as I said in previous posts, this vehicle in particular came no ready for plug and play.
    Again, many thanks..

Ahh.. before going to bed I figured your recommendation..
Is to cover the connector for the bumper Parking assist..
Now is clear.. I will keep digging to get the schematic to be able to connect the harness by myself.. I left a message to the dealer and he confirmed the model I bought is not coming pre-wired. Weird, but truth.
    Thanks!

The Access Cab "should" have the harness to the bed illumination. It doesn't have the complete harness towards the bed lamp (at the 3rd Stop Lamp).
Once you confirm the switch harness is there, look for the required relay and fuse to power the incomplete circuit. Others have shown they had it already, but no switch.
After that all you need to run is a single wire to the rear for the bed lamps. Once at the rear then "Y" to left & right. Ground for the added lamps is also near.

Thanks caribe makaira for the great support and guidance.. and all of you guys!

I sneaked out from the office to check it out , switch harness is there, but I was not able to identify the relay. I guess I need to remove the covers. I will do it once I get home.

I have a clear plan what to do thanks to your guidance and reading past threads..!

I will post results once I get it done..

Final question, do you think the dealer could void the warranty if they find out this aftermarket upgrade? Any experience from the past?

    Thanks!

When I added the bed lights to my 2016, I used the Tundra bed light kit, I don't remember having a ground wire at the lights, I believe the two wires were spliced on the drivers side wiring harness....they used a T tap connector

Based on your picture, it looks like I have the solenoid for the bed light switch. But what's the bottom solenoid in your picture for? I have a 2022 SR/SX with access cab and only 2 solenoids.

OK, in seaching I found another thread that says it's for the seat heater, which I don't have. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-bed-lights-oe-connectors-using-cargo-switch.653091/page-2
So it would appear I need the light assy and the switch, but not the relay.
