Hello im new from missouri got my tacoma last summer (pic below)
#1. (most agravating) I have what i think is the cali emissions thing on the truck never seen it before, its wierd black tubing thats connected to my exhaust mechanic at work said thats what he thinks it is, can i take this off or should, i if im wanting to get header back exhaust soon? will i need a diff ecu or tune if i do?
#2. I also have a k&n intake as well on it, does this hinder or help performance if i have the cali emissions or does it matter? seemed like it helped..
#3. when are they coming out with a trd charger for the new 2.7!

Pics of "weird black tubing"? It should say in the engine bay whether its 49 (FED) or a Cali truck.

Can you reword #1 so that the sentence structure makes sense and I can understand what you are asking?

As whipper said, you get a header that is made to incorporate it. They are out there.

Not sure the answer to your question. But what are the specs on your truck lift tires wheels? Looks good.

all the questions i had are now all answered really thanks for the help guys

the truck has 2.5 level on front and 1.5 inch block in the rear its just nice and level nothing crazy.. yet, and the tires are 265's with pro comp steelies

future plans (if i keep it for awhile) are hopefully that super charger, 4 inch pro comp, and some other cools things i have seen for it brush guard, spare tire carry etc
