Topper for sale from my second gen shortbed

 

Very nice! I need a rack over my softopper. It would be great for an awning, and I already have a cargo carrier I could put up there.

 

yep, ive got an awning in the garage that i need to do some repairs and then it will go up there too.

im pretty sure yes. I havent tried yet but i do believe it still folds down

I've got the same bars and I can not fold my topper anymore as intended (not enough space). I can pop the topper off of the pins while still deployed to get some extra space, and then I can fold it to remove it, but it is a HUGE pain. It could be due to the placement of my bars.

 

That's the main reason I hesitated to get the bed bars. I like having the versatility of this thing and being able to fold the soft topper down when I need a haul things like bikes or load it up from the side

 

My thought is, im probably not going to be able to fit much more with the bars on if the soft top is up or down

 

Howdy, I definitely prefer the softopper over bestop mainly because of looks. Looking into purchasing one shortly. Has anyone gotten the 3rd brake light kit from bestop and used it on a softopper ? I’m trying to figure it all out beforehand.

 

You can still roll up the sides, and itnis just as easy to get into safari mode, but full removal=a bag full of f@#ks.

 

I just installed my Softopper last night. It was a pretty tight fit, needed my wife's help to push the buttons in as I pulled the canvas back at the rear.

I'm going camping at the end of this week, it's going to be pretty cold both nights, around 16F one night, and 21F the other. I heard the rear windows like to crack in the cold. How should I deal with getting in and out the Softopper in the cold to avoid the cracking?
