How long did it take to get a second email? I ordered bronze wheels from Salinas Toyota yesterday. Got the first email right away but nothing else yet.

 

I got my second email the next day. Saying "Your order has been received and is being processed"

 

Hmmm TRD Pro exhaust worth it?

If anyone gets their TRD Pro Headlights delivered I’d like to see photos. I’m getting anxious

 

Here's a picture of mine that were ordered last Black Friday from a dealer in southern CA. Be sure to check that the tabs are intact (the two tabs that hold the bolts which attach to the truck) and not broken when you get them as it's been hit or miss no matter where you order from. My first set arrived broken, but the second set was packed with extra bubble wrap and was fine. My favorite functional mod for sure next to the bed mat.

 

For those waiting for shipment, here's what I was told about my order from this sale...

"The status of your order has changed and we wanted to keep you up to date:

Your order has been received and is being processed; Please allow 2-4 working days for shipment of your order. Most orders ship within 24-48 hours, but some may take up to 14 days. Oversize or overweight items may require additional shipping charges. We will contact you with the estimate of these additional charges once your order has been received. This is where my concern lies.

My fog lights order went to 'Received' the next morning after placing the order (order placed Sunday evening, Monday status updated to 'Received'). My headlight purchase is still on 'Payment Confirmed' (order placed Sunday evening).

This is why I'm thinking they're going to cancel the order.

Auto Hobby Shop Stall on Dover AFB, 2/hrs install @ $6/hr=$12

$201.56 + $302 + $1410.92 = $1914.48

That doesn't include what I spent for Talon CAT plate, mud flaps, HDX Steps, Exhaust Tip, Quick-lift, Battery Hold Down and Tailgate Lock kit.

I’ve spent a pretty penny since purchasing my new Taco two weeks ago. I keep justifying in my head that because I came very close to spending almost $5200 MORE on a ‘20 Taco, that I could use that savings on modding up the new one.

I also got the bed mat for about $85.

And I literally purchased the skid plate a week before that $299 sale price! I spent about $345 which includes the sales tax and free shipping.

But in my own little way I still wanted to get something out of that amazing sale. So knob for $73 and alloy wheel locks for $25 seemed a good compromise.

Yeah, FOMO pains were really kicking in here too, but I really don't need a damn thing for my truck. I almost ordered one of those TRD drop in air filters just to say I got a good deal on it, but then I came to my senses.

I just won't mention the amount I've spent to my wife...although she is aching to ask me.

Heck, her kitchen cost 10 times more than what I've spent...which is somewhere under/about $5K for my TACO.

I ordered from two different places Sunday night

Monday I got the update MGMDesertTaco posted above for both orders.

The skid plate notice came very early (<12 hours from ordering) and I got another notice that afternoon saying the order has shipped with a UPS tracking number.

I also ordered the pro tail lights @ $108 each and was nervous it would get cancelled based on the discussion a few pages back but got a shipping notice with UPS tracking number Tuesday. They should deliver today!

Reading back through this thread makes me wish I had ordered some headlights also. Apparently I have good fortune for once. Best of luck to those who did!

 

I'd like to see these Pro Tail Lights...pics please!
