I have the predator tubes too. This might just be a me problem, but I cannot for the life of me find a way to use them for getting in. Girlfriend appreciates them, but as the driver with no grab handle I cant find a way to use them getting in. Is everyone just grabbing the steering wheel to get in?

Yup, I grab the steering wheel and put my left foot on the step. I'm a big guy (horizonally, not vertically) so my seat bolsters are appreciating not having my fat ass sit on them and slide across any more.

Preds, look good! Shouldn't hinder someone that's vertically challenged.

The more off-roading, predator teeths will start falling out. When the extrusions gets crushed or falls out, it automatically becomes tube sliders. Graduation day to purchase sliders!

Ah, good to know. I guess I was worried about constantly yanking on the steering column. But it sounds like thats the move.

My predators came with the allocated truck. No choice. Didnt want them. Now Im glad they are there. Just right with the grab bar for the GF!
I did ditch the bed extender though. No use for that contraption.

Yeah just grab the steering wheel.. I love the predator steps and wanted them but a kids foot/leg is susceptible to getting stuck and injured, unfortunately.

Predator steps came with my truck. I have long legs so I never use them getting in the truck, for me they are more about the looks. However, my 5'2" daughter uses them. I don't go on any technical terrain, just fire trails and dirt/gravel roads so clearance has never been a problem. They do like someone above posted a picture collect alot of mud/snow.

I never liked the look of predators when I had my 2nd gen, but when they came with my 3rd gen I’ve realized that they are really practical and aggressive looking.

I'm 6'2" and they are unusable for me. Impossible to use getting in and totally unnecessary getting out. I did smash shins getting in and rub pant cuff getting out when I first got the truck. But now I'm used to them and have no issue. They look OK, but my plan is to get more simple/cleaner sliders. Let me know if anyone is interested.
