someone just posted about doing this.
I forget how it was done, but it turned out nice. I wanna say they used a cricket printer and an iron but I can't remember.

A couple of days ago the crossmember that my traction bar attaches to broke in half again (2nd time).
    20220217_113829.jpg

It's pretty typical of my plans getting rearranged by part failures. So today I'm starting the rear suspension upgrade even though I don't have all of the parts for it.
    20220217_113808.jpg

I'll need to fabricate shock mounts, add more steel to the rear spring hangers (already added some previously), and take a serious look at the rear shackles.

I planned on getting hammer hangers but the tax man thought that was a bad idea.

The end goal is to throw the rear lift blocks in the trash (finally!!!) and hang the traction bar up in my future new garage to restart my wall of shame.

I think I used up one of my nine lives (and favorite pair of boxers). Had a iron rod/pipe pogo across the highway last night and embed in the front of my taco on the way back home. Split the plastic bits and ripped loose the radiator mount. I was on the fence on doing some styling upgrades, but now I think there may be headlight, grill and surround upgrades. I'm thinking some yellow highlighting for a yellowjacket look. Fun continues.....

So I broke my truck recently. I believe I blew up the rear differential. Now I'll be waiting a while for it to get looked at. This is one job I probably can't really do :( .I picked up another car to get around for now :rolleyes:IMG_20220206_153859458_HDR.jpg

Check junk yards for a used axel and you can easily do it yourself. Just make sure it has the right gearing before you install it.

Or pop it out, put it in a home depot bucket and ship to ECGS. They typically turn them around for me in under 10 business days.

Overall this is my first 4x4. I won't deny it. I'm not exactly sure what's broken. But I guess I won't know unless I open it up.

Added new under hood led strip to the new skewpt hood. Used the existing wiring and pin switch from the plain hood. Nicer strip than before....

Still waiting on new seal for up front and the 2 clips that hold washer hose then it'll be done.

If you can jack it up, spin the tires and listen for anything out of the ordinary. The last time I broke my diff I could hear the clicking. If you totally grenaded it, you'll know.
