Porter's Page!

We are finally getting Porter's issues with strangers and certain inanimate objects addressed; The same woman who trained Mandy is working with Porter today!

As stated in the previous post, Porter is not the lease bit vicious or dangerous and shows no signs of aggression; The trainer believes that Porter's behavior is a result of lack of visitors due to COVID, and is unwittingly reinforcing his behavior...

 

The trainer is teaching us some amazing techniques for getting him to approach strangers, both inside our house and at the houses of others, in addition to when we are out in public at car shows and whatnot.

Looks like Porter's issues are going to be fairly easy to overcome!

 

I beat my dad home from work and took Porter for a walk this evening since it is so nice out; My dad happened to be driving by on his way home and gave us a ride home...

Porter, being the weirdo that he is, put his hind legs up on the rear seat of the Yukon and his front legs on the floor!

 

A couple with a Yellow Lab named Maisy was walking her past our house as Porter jumped out of the Yukon and, needless to say, Porter made a friend!
