I just picked up the cab rack from Prinsu and plan on putting one on the canopy when I get the rack to match. I've heard about the canopy slipping back to and was wondering how often it happens.

I live up in Washington State, I was stationed in the panhandle of Florida for awhile though. Had a great time down there with my first gen 4Runner!

Very good…I’ll have to get an extra set of clamps also. That’s a great price, I was quoted about $4200 up in washington.

I liked how it came tinted. I had a soft topper before this and while it was great I didn’t like how unsecured it was and needed something I could lock up

I looked at the soft toppers also, but for the same reason I think the hard canopy is the way to go. Also, living in Washington I'm not sure how susceptible the canvas would be to mildew in the rain.

Some parts of my city aren’t the best so that was always another worry with keeping gear in the bed

Hey, finally got my Leer in today. Thanks for the help!!! I believe it’s identical to yours for the most part anyway. I don’t know if it’s just the honeymoon phase or not but I feel the truck drives better with the added weight on the bed.

Hey, looks like we do have the same model. Iv had mine on for awhile now and love it, I agree I think it helps with the aero dynamics on the highway. Only thing I don’t like is they gave me separate keys for the windoors and rear window lock

yeah I know, I felt the same way! He handed me my key ring with 6 new keys…4 for the windoors and 2 for the back door. I might take it to a locksmith and see what they can do!

Good idea! I’ll have to do the same thing, I had a soft topper before this n didn’t like having to unload the bed after a trip so hard topper was the best option especially with theft being the way it is my my neighborhood

I did get rid of the prinsu set up tho, for 8 months I was getting a nasty vibration that felt like it was coming from the front end and I mean bad it felt like the passenger side wheel was about to fall off at highway speeds of 80 mph n up and in some cases at 65 mph after a wheeling trip. I ran a test taking it off and the prinsu ended up being the issue. Still blows my mind it had been causing the vibration with it all buttoned down, I guess some get lucky n some don’t with em
