    Damn wtf.
You sure there isn't any rotational movement that can be had before tightening things up to get room for those bolts?

No. I got 4 in, one I can prob drive home and 2 are not even close. Once the dowels are in it will be worse. Im just gonna drill it to a 3/8 hole like I had to do to get that same plate on the crawlbox. Stupid problem but far from my biggest problem right now compared to the rear suspension.

You'll need a whole lot more clearance. So technically speaking, it won't fit....

That case in your truck? Last pics I saw, it looked really close. When will you be running?

Yea thought about that option as well but where I'm at, there's no salted road or snow to worry about real rust.

Got the Barnes cover but the cut makes the housing super thin. Kind of worried about it breaking.

That is pretty thin... I'm sure it'll be fine though. If you're really worried about it you could get some diff amour, which would kinda defeat the purpose of a shave kit...

You could also look into the TMR or Ballistic Fab Shave kit - they both give you a billet plate to weld onto the bottom of the housing, I'm sure those won't give you any issues!

Too late. Lol.. still have to grind just a little to match the cover. It’s slightly off but pretty much done. Turned out good. Had to heat it to 400 degrees before and and the welds were surprisingly pretty decent. Hit it with heat after as well.

Everyone seems to endorse the cover so fuck it. I can put a plate on down the road.
