    Fine by me. We have two rokus, purchased at the same time, and I fucking hate them. They work...sometimes. But other times they simply hang on some random part of the UI, or they play sound but not video because theres an HDCP update at the streaming service they aren't aware of. Also, have some ads!

    Its fucking weird that with all the tech we have now that a PC web browser with adblock is the least poisonous way to view content.

    Interesting. Mine were all purchased last year. I occasionally get the HDMI error but it only happens on the older tvs. And the comcast/xfinity app blows.

    Fun fact - Roku tv has not one but TWO This Old House channels.
