    Good morning all, :hattip:

Strong storms overnight, lost power at some point. I didn't sleep well because of the howling winds. Coffee and more coffee.

    Enjoy the day, stay safe.

    I vote GC with @Cuffs !

    That's cool!

No back pain is awesome. Hopefully the heart rate settles down. All the best to you!

Get to it sir! That'll be a nice upgrade to the bathroom.

Good grief, 6" of snow would cripple Jawga. I know it's childs play for the North folks.

Change is good. All the best as you transition to the new job.

Hopefully it'll be some good news Chuck.

Good morning everybody. It’s Friday! :bananadance:

Storm was a bust for us, it rained for about 45 minutes around midnight, nothing major. Winds and now some beach erosion from high surf is the worst we got. Sorry for you guys that got the heavy rains and white stuff.

    ¿Por qué no los tres?

Good morning folks! Tried my best to stay up all night so I could sleep some today I was somewhat successful. I’m leaving at midnight to head north again my furthest north stop has canceled. Doesn’t seem to matter that there are stops after them we should make everyone else later to accommodate them. Seems a bully move to me and I don’t play that way. So now I get to pull out a crate and it will make a perfect spot for my bunk my rods already packed there’s every chance a fishing trip might break out!

Good morning folks! 7" of fresh snow last night on top of the freezing rain. My 10-15 min drive home took 40 minutes. I'll never understand how so many people can be driving Jeeps and AWD/4WD SUVs and not know what that little "4WD" switch does. 10-15 mph was just ridiculous. Was a very aggravating drive home last night. But now it's Friday and the races start at Daytona this weekend. :woot:
Have the best day you can!

@MTgirl - in case you hadn't seen these pics that I posted in some other thread (I think???), my wife and I were at the Grand Canyon in October 2021. perfect weather, very few other tourists.....

In case you weren't aware, the south rim of the canyon is around 7,000' elevation, so expect it may be pretty cool this time of year, but Cuffs can give you the live weather updates.

Oh, and in case you haven't been to the various NP's in Utah, Bryce, Zion Canyons and Arches are stunning. They are absolutely worth a visit, as are the rest of the National Parks and Monuments in Utah.

But you will have all your crap with you! Should have gotten the diesel I got 12 pulling a camper and you have to keep telling yourself trailer tires aren’t rated to run as fast as this thing will tow.

You other geezers remember the George Carlin on vacation stuff? Basically you have all your stuff in your house/apt, then to go on vacay you have to pack a smaller version of your stuff, then if you take a side trip, you pack an even smaller version of your stuff.

"...all your crap with you..." reminded me of that. One of my favorite Carlin bits, that and the line "...my shit is stuff, and your stuff is shit..."

May is perfect here, just starting to get real warm in the inner canyon, but the Rim is still really nice!

Oregon coast will be cold and wet still.
    SD... probably still cold too.

    I vote GRCA!
