My 2019 Tacoma trd is hard to start. Try to start and it will click once and nothing. Truck battery is new and good. Key fob battery is new. After 10-12 attempts it Will finally crank easily. After truck is warm for the day it will crank easily. Anyone experienced this ?

Hmmm, maybe a grounding issue? My first advice would have been get a new battery but you took care of that.

    Yeah.
The main things to check are the battery, battery connections, grounds, and the starter itself. Done any deep water crossings, or deep mud holes?

Battery and connections are good. I’ll check ground and starter. I haven’t been in any water.

Turn headlights on then try and start the truck ...

If headlights dim when turning the key it's your battery or cables

If headlights don't dim your starter is bad

If the starter is the culprit take a screw driver and lightly tap it with the handle . If it starts your starter is bad

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Did you just do a visual of the battery connections and tighten the clamps OR did you remove each, wire brush both the clamp & terminal, then reconnect?

This is interesting trouble-shooting. I like it.

Just a curious thought (thinking out loud and typing it??)... Back with incandescent bulbs in the headlights, in feckin cold MN winters, I would turn on the headlights before trying to start --- just to wake-up the battery.
You know, get the electrolyte moving, so not to shock it with a huge load all at once.
But now days, with led bulbs in everything I doubt this technique would achieve the results I wanted then, since they don't draw much. (insert crayon joke here for you & I being Jarheads) I think I did have good results, but just my observations; no scientific process to prove or disprove. Too damn cold to stand out there in a lab coat!

Anyway, what I'm asking is: is your troubleshooting process a good one with leds in the headlights? (I don't know, but if it is, I'm going to use it!) Cheers!
I'm not near my truck, so I can't test it.

I removed old battery, cleaned connection, and installed new battery.

Just adding an extra load to the battery won't help a thing.

Contact disk/studs in the starter. Used to be very common in the older trucks

Are you referring to the trouble shooting suggested by @US Marine or my cold wx technique?

Chuck wasn't saying it would help with the OPs problem, but it would help OP to better find that problem.

My process of giving the batt a smaller load first, before the huge amp draw did help - in batt function and longevity. But has nothing to do with OP's problem. I should have been more clear.

That troubleshooting trick I learned from being an Auto club tow truck driver

Got to admit after 48 years in the auto trade and 15 as an electronic tech I have never heard of that. Now I live in the Maine mountains it gets real cold up here. I get in twist the key wait a few seconds for full oil flow and off I go been doing that since I was 16 and in that time the battery's of today have improved by light years. The modern batteries last at least 4 years or more.

Just because battery is new. Doesn't mean it is good. Check voltage.

You missed the question... does this work with the new LED headlights as well?
