    Ordered my battery cage and new brake lines last night for the 4runner. So many parts piling up. Still waiting on the UCA's to show up tho. Thinking I will install the snorkel tonight. Now just need to source the rear diff breather for the Tacoma and the 4runner.

    And got the plan started to head to Montana in August for some camping and exploring. Luckily only a few items to do to the Tacoma to get it ready. @XPOTRPR want to take a week off and head north to explore?

    Seeing the talk of credit unions and stuff for vehicle financing. What one would you guys use to refi a Fiat that is over half way paid off but I don't want a huge truck payment anymore?

    I’m an existing desert financial member, so I did it with them as it required no effort really from me, 5 mins over the phone and docs in email to sign and done. Rates are normally really good especially if you have accounts with them already etc, refi rates like everyone are a little higher then new car rates but not by much.

    I have used Desert Financial and now Hughes financial out of Tucson. I much prefer Hughes. Way easier to work with in my mind.

    Desert financial has great rates but they are fucking idiots when it comes to less common deals like purchasing an RV. Avoid them for that. All of our vehicle preapprovals were easy as pie. We now use Mountain Americas CU for everything, I get lower than advertised rates with them. I know there is at least one location in the valley on Northern on the west side.

    Speaking of USAA, they wanted four times the premium of State Farm to insure my C5 with less coverage...helping veterans my ass! :luvya:

    :eek: I've literally had the opposite experience. Was with State Farm for a life insurance policy literally for decades, insured multiple vehicles with them too before they royally screwed the pooch with me. Cancelled every policy I had with those assholes.

    USAA and I are cool.

    Like a good neighbor, State Farm can stay the fuck over there. :bananadead:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I have four vehicles...all driven under 10K/year. USAA didn't even take me to dinner before trying to fuck me. I went through the Nat'l Corvette Museum for the C5 insurance...less than $275 annual premium for full coverage and agreed upon value...and collector insurance exempts it from emissions :thumbsup:
