Ah yes. the superchip has that feature as well as the taser. You didn't mention it so I assumed it was stock. My buddy had a superchips in his 18 jlur manual on 38's. He sold it to vroom or carfax after returning it to stock and they gave him more than what he paid for it new.

Not sure I had the auto. I had the original one when the jl’s first came out. A lot of stuff I bought didn’t fit or work as advertised due to being so new. Unfortunately I bought a few things more than once because the first thing I bought didn’t work as advertised. I’m sure things are a lot better now. I don’t have the Jeep anymore.

Because, why not have the option? Going up some steps in dry conditions? Getting up a wet boat ramp. Off road where steering is absolutely critical ie Black Bear Pass.I havent experienced every single driving condition known to man but options are good.

I think it would be a good option to have, but realistically for me, if I'm in any "real" tuff conditions, I'm already in 4low. When I'm trailblazing in 4hi, I've never had the need to lock it up. Matter of fact I may be more concerned with braking something if I need it at higher speeds. But that's just me...
