We are getting snow squalls, almost a white out, although the picture may not do justice.

Dog has a new heated water bowl.
Remove 3 screws to remove the top of the "food table". Chip some ice to get the cord out and wa la warm water. Usually get 2 winters from these bowls. Gota get a new back up now.

We had this last evening. Cellphone kept going off with weather alerts. Coming home from work the city streets were icy. Out in the country by me roads were clear.

It was one of those squall lines that come off of Lake Erie. Sometimes they are only 50 miles wide or so.

When I was active with a local pitty rescue, we always saw the same thing. Some of theeee sweetest/goofiest pitties would end up at the rescue. Most of them were better mannered and had more common sense then the humans that were supposed to take care of them.

Thanks so much for doing what you do for these animals!

Weather report from Ed; "It's windy as phuck and cold as a witches' teet. Snow squalls in the forecast for today"

its amazing how many great animals end up in shelters. my son and DIL got JAX a black lab/pitt mix at ours as a puppy. i can tell you he is one big lump of muscle and the smartest, kindest dog ive ever seen. when they had the first grandkid he would lay at her feet, lick her toes if she cryed and go get the kids when she cryed. he also goes on protect mode if strange people are around. son and them being loud watching a ball game,JAX goes sits infront of DIL and grandchild, totally different look on his face,as he scans the room. he is a blessing, nap time.
