The accessories that I wanted to add, included the keypad door unlock and the remote activated lock on the tailgate. If I find one that doesn't have these how hard is it to get them added?

    Keypad door unlock?

Remote tailgate doesn't look difficult, just time consuming. Plenty of videos for the install. I have the kit, just waiting for warmer weather to install as it is not a 20 minute job.

Yea the tailgate deal doesn't seem too bad. The keypad thing is that deal kinda like Ford's door unlock pad on the door except Toyota does it on the windshield at the a-piller on the driver's side. Anything is possible obviously but I figured I'd see if anyone had it done post purchase. Probably not a deal breaker and honestly it's in an annoying spot but I use the crap out of the one on my Ford.

    Ok... that's God damn cool...

But.. it's kind of redundant if you have the Smart key. You having a Ford I understand. I've seen these on ford's forever.

That dude is a bit annoying.. watched a lot of Taco vids on YT before I put the deposit on mine... every time I'd click on one.. his goofy slang.. ugh.

Does anybody have rough estimates on how many trd pros will make it to production this year with the supply chain issues? only number I was able to find was 1500 trd pros, and that was in 2016. Just curious how many Lime Tacos will make it during the production year. I have personally seen two 4 runners in that color but not a single tacoma.

Been watching this thread since Jan. Put deposit on a 2022 Tacoma Limited on New Year's Eve (already allocated to dealer in December.) Was told build to be 1/17 and to dealer early Feb.

Build delayed a few days and transport took longer than expected. Received a call yesterday, 2/18 truck arrived at dealership. I live in Iowa. Picking up next Thursday!
Seems consistent with what I have seen here for lead time, etc.

Was slim pickings at the time for allocations not already spoken for and not a single new Tacoma available on the lot at the time or since. Probably would have leaned toward a Premium Sport or OR but it was either this Limited or two or three SR's and SR5's available at that point.

Trading my '15 DCSB Sport so hoping I like this one as much.

I just "ordered" a 2022 SR5 Taco. Dealer said 4 to 12 weeks. Ordered it about 3 weeks ago, haven't heard anything so far. I'm in NW Indiana. This will be my first Tacoma and my 5th Toyota. I had a 1987 Toyota pickup that went 23 years and 300K miles. Anybody have any feedback on how long they waited for Tacos ordered in December or January? I guess I'm just impatient....

Went in today to put down my down payment on my allocation. 2022 TRD OR DCLB Army Green. Was able to remove some of the fluff accessories from my allocation and add on the TRD exhaust. expected delivery is mid March. Landers Toyota - Little Rock, AR did MSRP plus small doc fee.

I'm new here and this is my first post. I plunked down $500 deposit for an SR5 Taco on 1/23. I'm gonna call the sales guy to see if there's any news on an allocation. I'm in NW Indiana, and they seem to be gouging big time in the Chicago area. So far I'm at MSRP. And I'm trading in my 2016 RAV4.

Called the dealer and he finally gave me the permanent VIN which I believe means the truck is at the local port in Toronto. Eta still shows March 8th-12th. Could be one of the first pros to arrive in Canada especially in 6MT
