Anyone having rust issues in our area? I know lots of folks use fluid film or cosmoline. Is it necessary in our area?

My truck was in Omaha a year before we moved to Wichita and my Bilstein lift got completely trashed. Protect with anything and everything.

The main reason I popped in is because I'll be in the area visiting a friend for the weekend of the 26th if there's a onesie/twosie looking for a tune. Just give me a shout

Well guys, 2 weeks ago, I traded in my 2017 Taco TRD Pro for a 21 Tundra CM in Cement. I just couldn't do that puny little 3.5 anymore. I tow to much to make it work. I really wanted it to work it just didn't. So far loving the new Tundra the fam and dog are absolutely loving the extra space. Just glad to be happy with a Toyota truck again. Still miss my 4.0 Tacoma though. I plan on trying to find another 12-15 Taco MT in a few years.

Holy moly this is one group I never anticipated!

started with the CA group. Then Utah. Now Arizona. About to close on a place next week in Omaha! All in just 6 years.

most likely will move our Cooper there first, Taco and 4R to follow as we get closer to retirement.

looking forward to our move east!

I guess I make 5. Papillion, NE. Plenty of Tacos in Omaha and surrounding areas. Soon to be DFW Metroplex though. State Income Taxes suck and I'm looking forward to moving but will miss the bike paths and parks. Very impressed with how NE spends its tax dollars. If I were raising a family I'd be staying.

I'm in Lincoln. I see lots of Tacos every day, often end up in a convoy of 3-4 Tacos in a row, but either they aren't on TW or just nobody posts in this thread.
I love all the bike paths in Lincoln. I kind of want to move somewhere more interesting, but also afraid of losing all the miles and miles of flat bike paths. I don't know if I could bike up a hill

It’s officially official. Closed this morning. I’ll be headed to OMA next week to paint and fix things up. Bringing the small moving truck later in March.

Any Tacos in the OMA area this weekend? I maybe could use a little muscle…
Best case: stacked apartment style washer/dryer, needs to be removed. (It works just fine, I’m using it right now). It can be yours for free for the labor to get it down the stairs of a 3rd floor walk up….
In return, I need a tiny (no, really, it’s smaller than normal) washer and dryer moved up those same stairs…

Worst case: move the stacked W/D to my garage parking space, I pay with your choice:cash, pizza, beer (note: I like craft beer, not the cheap stuff ;) ) And I’ll manage moving the new units up some other time.

I wasn't planning on being in Omaha this weekend, but..... if you want my unsolicited opinion on Omaha craft beer, I recommend checking out Nebraska Brewing Co and Upstream Brewing. Brickway is pretty good too. And I think Zipline has a taproom in Omaha too, they're one of my favorite Lincoln breweries.
