Nope, but Frank's is pretty generic/ iconic.

Some of us, myself included, don't usually dip below habanero level heat for anything. But even though some of us like to push the limits of heat, we all love flavor. I have a go-to sauce that is good on most things and I have sauces that really only go well with certain dishes.

I'll have to try Texas Pete's, although I'm not usually a fan of the cayenne and vinegar sauces.

It doesn't even register on my mouth's hotness scale. Mostly vinegar taste.

Franks Original and Texas Pete quite similar, I like Franks because it’s thicker. True they’re the Budweiser of hot sauces, but I like it.

I taste the cayenne pepper flavor. You probably had your taste buds burned out on some of that really hot stuff lol.

Maybe. It's always been like that since I was a kid though. The hottest sauce I've ever had that I actually crave the flavor of is the sauce from Samyang Buldak x2 spicy ramen. Amazing flavor, but right at the top of my heat comfort level. It's art when they match like that.

I'm finding and liking a lot of these new avacado/jalapeno hot sauces. Creamy smooth with a kick and flavor. I dislike a hot sauce that's nothing but heat and burn.

Frank's is alright, but I've only really experienced it on buffalo wings.

McIlhenny's is way too vinegary for me to enjoy on anything besides eggs (when Cholula isn't available.)

That's the extent of my hot sauce preferences beyond the few I posted about earlier in the thread.

Wife uses those teeny bottle Tabasco hot sauces for flavoring food. I slather Franks Original on mine out of a big bottle. Thats the extent of my experience other than Texas Pete. Some of the home made hot sauces in this thread sound interesting though.

Frank's is my original favorite. I remember when it was Durkee and my dad would put it on his scrambled eggs. I asked for some and he thought he would get a good laugh so he gave me some. It didn't taste hot to me and I loved it. That was the start of my search for hotter and more flavorful sauces.

I bought this one. Not my cup of tea. The heat level is nice, but the garlic is overpowering.

I bought a 3 pack of the Torchbearer. Looking for something new and hot. I love Truff but looking for something with more of a kick.

The Carolina Reaper is not to be taken litely, it is hot. The Zombie Apocalypse is hot but won't kill you or your tastebuds and the Son of Zombie has some really good flavor and my favorite of the three.

Wow. Some great suggestions for flavor in here.

    Anyone try Melinda’s?
