If you're not planning to go LT, I've been super happy with the King extended travel w/adjuster knob. Paired with OME medium springs (3rd leaf removed). Then with my load C 285's, the truck has never been more comfortable on the road. And it's been more than capable on CO trails

Also the 700lbs coils are a nice upgrade over the Baja's since you have the added 55lbs of supercharger up front

Hi everyone, new here on TW! wanted to post this on the TRD pro thread. We've been searching high and low for 2013-2015. Our neighbor is selling a 2013 TRD TX Pro 4x4 double cab long bed Manual with 32k miles. He is asking $35k which I'm aware it is crazy but in this market with the low miles we are considering. What do you all think about the asking price and what would you do in this scenario? We actually hadn't heard much about the TX and Baja until recently so doing some research now!

Well…..I can’t tell you it isn’t a TX Pro due to you saying it’s a long bed. However, this market or not, that seems to be a decent price.

Absolutely reasonable if not a great deal. I paid $31k for mine in 2017 (with supercharger and topper plus some) with 65k miles on it.

In this market with those low miles, seems about right.
I wouldn't sell mine for less than 40 right now.

If you are looking for more travel consider some 2nd gen Tundra shocks. King P/N 25001-144A for reference. Dont recall the exact measurements but its about 1-1.5" additional travel beyond the extended Tacoma shocks you can buy off the shelf.

You will have to swap the lower bearing spacers out and fab some custom resi brackets. But overall they pair really well with my RXT pack while still using the factory upper and lower mounts.

Damn you're right, going to look at the truck tomorrow. Was hoping for a 6 ft bed but realized this will be short. good to know it is a decent price though for this market, but it also is selling for just as much as it cost MSRP 10 years ago.

So if it is a short 5’ bed, it may be a tx pro as you stated. Not a bad price honestly.

Yeah, I don’t think they made the TX Baja or Pro in a 4 door long bed, only the access cab long bed, which was very limited numbers…

You can still do a lot with the short bed!

Not a bad looking truck, clean I’d like to think. Nice big dollar parts. But 28K? I’m thinking more like 22.5
