MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

Is anybody planning on getting them clear coated or ceramic coated to help protect the housing? I'm thinking about it, but not sure of the advantages vs disadvantages of clear vs ceramic.

Check out XPEL. I use the film exclusively on my headlight and tail lights. It gives a much better layer of protection than a ceramic coat. And will hide any scratches.

 

Did my window tints with Xpel ceramic. Thanks for the idea Meso going to do the same for these new taillights... I’ll save the headlight Xpel for when you drop headlights some day in the future. Also super pumped to install the KC5 brake light I just received...That and these taillights are gonna change the whole rear of the Taco. Appreciate you & your mods!

 

So is the XPEL a film for the tail lights or a liquid and do we do it or have XPEL do it? This looks like something a lot of us would be interested in for the lights.

What do the guys that work on these vessels do while they wait for months and months?

Hopefully there are some lot lizards driving around on little dingy boats.

 

I was originally preparing myself to swap out my taillights in the bitter cold weather, but it looks like I'll have some warmer weather to do the swap...

So March looks like the month then? Damn Sam. I suppose it will be more fun to work on the truck when it is warmer anyway.

 

Ships that large require a lot of maintenance from the salty water and air. I'm sure they are busy but not happy about scraping, sanding, painting etc.

 

I'd assume so but wait to reconfirm. Something scheduling updates mess up and place things as later than they are.

 

I went back and forth on these tail lights 100 times but I just finally pre ordered my set with the clear housing! Can't wait to install!!

 

I'll buy your stage 2 off you. I can't justify the price of these tails.
