Count yourself lucky. When I had mine made a few years ago everyone seemed to love his products and were happy with the process. Lol that wasn't my experience at all ... and now at ~4 years later it seems to be the norm on this thread.

Dude I would have loved to leave the thread 2 years ago but here we are. I’d love to leave positive comments on this thread but again, here we are. No one has anything positive to say because there’s nothing positive about any of this so you kinda gotta deal with the backlash. We gave you every inch you asked for and you took a mile every time.

 

Dude i think your lights took them self to the ups store and got lost. Because clearly the Op didn’t. This has been going on way too long and @Billison_ still has no lights!!!

 

I will update this thread with his tracking this weekend so everyone can track it together and rusty shackle will be soon behind him

 

According to my calculations, @Billison_ will get another message in 4 weeks saying "they are shipping this week and you will have tracking soon".

 

Still waiting for OP to give me a reasonable refund. I know things went sideways in shipping on my item but I'm still out $2k and, honestly, my family could use the money with a couple of large expenses the last few months.

 

have you considered doing headlight retrofits as a side-gig? I’ve heard it can be pretty lucrative

All jokes aside though, that’s really too bad that you haven’t gotten a refund or a product. I’d be so irritated if I were in your shoes. Hope it all ends up getting resolved.

If they were done and going to be sent and all the while you're catching shit... Send out the orders and take a vacation...from taking anyone's money for a service you cannot provide.

 

Yes. I paid him an additional fee for insurance. He claimed though that UPS only offered him a payout of a third of what I paid him. He asked if I wanted that refunded or if I wanted another set of lights. I told him I wasn't going to send him another $1000 but I'd prefer lights over a refund (at the time I still had the truck.) Since then I've had on and off contact with him which always ends at, "I'll see what I can do," but nothing happens. Now it's over two years later and I have a different toy and nothing from him at all.

Honestly at this point I've come to grips with the fact I paid $2K Canadian Dollars for nothing and this seller probably lost whatever money I gave him in his divorce. The mods should remove him from the site but it seems like his cat and mouse game is allowed to continue for now.

Well everyone, just wanted to post an end of day status on the lights.

Status: we’re fucked.

I am gonna go with bxbuilt headlights after this week. they’re at least local to me. I’ll give @LSC15 till Thursday to take 20 min out of his extremely busy life to ship the already built lights to me before I reinstate a claim through my bank. @tcBob this all seem familiar to you? This is the elite thread all over again.
