Installed some of the GearTech splash shields. Overall very happy with them and from the looks of things, they should keep the mess out of the engine bay much better than the originals.

I was using Dr. Tranny Instant Shudder fix to help remedy the shudder and it was working fine but it got to the point to where it wasn't working anymore so a converter replacement was inevitable. Solenoids and other components were fine. 2k miles on it so far after the swap and the truck drives like a dream. Not a single shudder. Valvoline MaxLife synthetic trans fluid works great. It took about 7qts after I was done.

The new door seals that Toyota put out as part of the TSB for the kazoo a few years back. I think a few people were able to get them replaced under warranty, but I’m way passed that! Ha. Hoping these actually work. I’ve read good things. :notsure::fingerscrossed:

I had my seals on my 2015 replaced under warranty. Fixed the problem. Hope it works for you.

What is this kazoo sound you speak of? My 2013 DCSB never makes these sounds. In fact it never even learned to play the recorder as a child.

Your 2013 DCSB would probably be learning Hip-Hop as a child vs a recorder.

I was wondering why I could hear RunDMC every once in a while.

Known issue on second gens. At higher speeds with a good crosswind, truck starts singing like a loud obnoxious kazoo! Apparently some design flaw or seal flaw.

Painted the audio control bezel on steering wheel matte black but should have also painted the plain one on right with same paint. Already have rostra fon control so not adding that to the wheel is why plain one on right. I will have to pull wheel to add wiring from spiral to stereo so I'll shoot the plain one with same paint then so they will match. Either way like it more than silver bezels. Tried it for awhile but couldn't like it.

They are the 4” bulge fiberglass fenders off of McNeil’s website. Favorite part of the truck.

Indeed it is. I taught myself how to weld when Covid hit and picked up a little harbor freight metal bender that got the job done.

Drove to the dealer and ordered some connectors and had a key made because I lost my other key, I think I may have inadvertently threw it in the garbage but I couldn't find it.

While there I bought a TRD key chain so I wouldn't throw out another one.

Checked tracking for some terminals that were ordered and it says they were delivered to my mailbox so I ran outside and grabbed them.
Expected delivery was Tuesday so them showing up early is a huge plus.

Now I'm waiting on some connectors from Toyota and my dash harness conversion/mod/whatever will be done.

I have a bunch of stuff to install when the weather is nice. Tailgate break light (not sure where to take it) bullet style antenna and Subaru kicker tweeters and a TRD emblem for my grill. I’m getting the itch. I want the ray 10 wheels but 16” isn’t being made for awhile so I hear. I’m waiting till summer to do dual fx flowmaster exhaust. There’s new laws in ma for loud exhaust I hope it passes inspection
