My text alert is the MGS alert tone and my ringtone the codec ring. (though I keep my phone on vibrate most of the time.)

It's good for side impact accidents, you can see Karen running the redlight to your left and t-boning you. For Randy it's so he can record his impromptu Karaoke sessions. :rockband:

I’m gonna give one of these tent cots a shot.

    https://kamprite.com/shop/tents/tri-fold-series/kamp-rite-oversize-tent-cot/

On trips where I trailer Betty, I’ll be running some more difficult trails and will want the rtt off of the back. I also won’t be limited by cargo space since I’ll have the tundra.

My main reason for getting the rtt and moving away from the ground tent was dealing with a dirty footprint and the cot tent should solve that issue. If it works as well as I’m hoping then I’ll ditch the rtt entirely, but I won’t be rushing into that because I do like it.

My FiL uses cots exclusively for "glamping"...IMG_1663.jpg
Edit: Not fully captured is the 40x60 "tarp city" he will sleep under in inclement weather.

Ahhhh. The old Military cot. So many memories of using them.

Added shelter to which involved 550cord, laying over antennas and the infamous poncho.

She naked as hell now. Since the tent will stay off for the foreseeable future I decided to put my center rear view mirror back on. To do that I had to move my ultragauge, which was easy. I just modified the bracket I made to drop it down below the mirror. We’ll see if I like it there, it’s a little obstructive.

Spit balling here…. Do you use the visor at all? If not, a small thin bracket behind the mount, attach the UG to it. it’s kinda up outta the way.

That’s a good idea but I do use the visor so that’s a non starter. I’m thinking somewhere lower left, over near that ac vent. It’s a pretty low stakes item so I’ll play around with it.

I have mine over that left side AC vent and I like it there. Simple to glance over and check things while not diverting eyes too far
