Yep, somebody mentioned instead of the m18 hackzall get the m12 if you have a sawzall (good idea) so I'm waiting for a better m12 starter deal to get one. I got the fuel m12 3/8 ratchet for $79 from that HD sale and need some m12 batts to try it. I have been watching the HD milwaukee deals daily using the 'savings by percentage off' filter at > 30% and it seems the good deals have peaked and prices are slowly getting worse again.

I have no use for this M12 3/8" ratchet I got in the combo pack from HD. :( Not sure if I return for store credit or what.

I love mine, but it's a Fuel model.

I'd keep it if it was, otherwise I'd expect the non-Fuel to not have much torque.

    It is the non-fuel version...

Probably like $110 shipped ground to continental us.

The differences are that the non-FUEL doesn't have speed control and is brushed motor I believe.

    ***EDIT!!***
I WAS WRONG!!! The fuel delivers 55lbft, I must have been thinking surge-impact hex drivers!!

    Ah didn't realize that.

I thought I recall an independent test showing different torque values. Either read it or saw a Youtube video on it.

    No worries!

I think that's why I really liked it.

I used my ratchet for the first time some 2-3 years ago when I installed my ARB bumper and remember thinking "damn this little thing has a lot of torque"

I just picked up the m12 fuel hackzall with 4 Ah as part of the one free tool package and it is very awesome.

Finished it. It’s a little heavy, but all the stuff is in one place now.

    VERY NICE and HANDY!

I am not a fan of the axe blade exposed like that though. Sheathed would be fine. Just the dad in me I guess
