Not sure. I just knew frame sections were available. From the looks of the parts, it looks like 2 and 9 bolts to 1 (as needed), and 4 is welded over all three sections. You can probably compare the parts by crawling under your truck and comparing. I'm saying 4 is a welded part because of the fish mouthed section at the rear.

After the initial kick in the balls feeling I think it will be just fine after seeing how good the inside of the frame looked. I do believe the heat from the catalytic converter caused this spot to rot. No other rust on the frame.

Just curious, was your frame ever replaced or is that the original?

Original. This truck had been serviced regularly at toyota for everything the owner never did his own services. He said he didnt even know about the frame issues with these trucks, never heard there was a problem.

After the patch is welded on, hose down the inside really well with some Fluid Film. This should wick up into the portion between the frame and patch. You'll want to do this before water and salt can find it's way in there.
You should be good for a while after that. Then do the rest of your frame.
If you can't find Fluid Film, use Liquid Wrench Rust Inhibitor or some spray lube that has a little body to it.
I use FF and some cheaper alternatives that are a little better flowing. I was just under my truck today and it's still nice and greasy with no rust except a little surface rust here and there where it gets washed off by road spray.
After the patch, you should be fine.

Well I got the rot cut out and the patch welded in. Looks great. I had about a 10 inch wide by 3 inch high hole in the frame after taking the exhaust off and getting in there with a hammer and cutting wheel.I had my buddy who is a welder by trade cut and weld a piece of 1/4 inch carbon steel patch, looks good as new.I dont have pictures yet I just painted the patch with rustoleum rust inhibitor primer last night and fluid filmed the whole frame inside and out. Not one ounce of rust anywhere. Should be good forever because I will definately keep the fluid film on a regular schedule. Thanks for everyone's input during this nerve racking ordeal.
