    AJKlug1's 2010 ACLB

Started off with a 2010 SR5 V6 ACLB with 29,500 miles in March of 2021. The truck was completely stock other than nerf bars and a tonneau cover. I took the nerf bars and mud flaps off within the first week of ownership as well as swapping the OEM antenna out for a .50 BMG antenna.I Don't even think the original owner ever put down the back "seats." Basically brand new, still smelled it. If you have any questions anywhere down the line please ask! Thanks for looking!

First mod was ripping out the terrible stock sound system and putting in an Alpine ILX-W650 with the KTA-450 amp with JBL GTO front 6x9 replacements and added shotgun door 6 1/2's.

Next mod was the Pop & Lock PL8540 Power and Manual Tailgate Handle. Whatever you do, DO NOT follow P&L's instructions, both my truck and my dads 3rd gen Tundra told you to run your wire to the complete opposite side of the cab.

Next Mod is my favorite (and cheapest) to date, the Taco Sauce gas cap sticker! Gets tons of compliments when its in the work parking lot.

Decided to paint the gauge cluster bezels black. Got the idea and the how-to from the lovely Mr. Tacomaholic.

Then it came time for the wheels and tires, went from stock alloys and "new" tires (for sale) to TRD PRO wheels 17x7 and Toyo Open Country A/T III's in 265/70/R17

Got those mounted, etc at Extreme Customs in Oshkosh, WI since I'm currently laid up from hip surgery and can't do it myself. Super pleased with the work they did, I highly recommend them. Couldn't be happier with the final product! Bigger tires even fixed the speedometer being 3mph fast.

Built myself a false floor in the back seat with a hatch for the pew pew compartment. Quite a few headaches measuring later I'm very pleased with how it turned out!

Bought a Color Matched honeycomb grill and painted the center emblem. That erased the last piece of chrome off the front. Only thing left is the rear bumper.
Added a tri color badge to pay homage to Mr. Stewart and called it a day. Super pleased with the final product!

I decided to go the route of buying new badges rather than plasti dip because I thought it was too tedious. The old badges came off well with some heat and high pound test fishing line. The original adhesive came off with a plastic scraper blade and cleaned with adhesive remover and then rubbing alcohol. New badges went on well however the SR5 and the Toyota badges are a hair small. Not a big deal at all and I am glad I did it!248201B2-FFEF-4588-813A-9EA87C7D97A2_1_201_a.jpg

Painted the tweeter trim black like I did with my gauge cluster bezels. Once again I got the Idea from Tacomaholic on youtube. Even though you don't look at it directly all that often the black isn't as noticeable in your peripheral. Process was easy and a good day project.

Ordered and installed Jumpers LED's 650 lumen amber DTRL's. A super easy install for those with basic knowledge and a little time. Nice knowing that the housings won't burn up and a bonus is that they look nicer (brighter) than the stocks.110FE1D6-8E79-44CF-BB3C-EC2C31DD0905_1_201_a.jpg

Installed two of my Dad's old subwoofers and one of his amplifiers that he used to use back in 1992. This stuff is the cream of the crop. Since about 96 he has kept them in pristine condition. It is a homemade 3 chamber bandpass enclosure with two Orion XTR 10 subs powered by an Orion 225 HCCA Digital Reference amplifier. He says they sound just as good as they used to almost 30 years ago. I guess that's what quality will get you! Carpeted the box and mounted the Amp right to it and made it easy to remove should I ever need too.

Installed the Diode Dynamics Stage Series 30" Driving White Light Bar using the Caliraised brackets and switch and had an old harness off of a past vehicle. Since the Brackets were not designed for the bar I knew I was taking a gamble trying to make them work but with a few spacers and washers it works great. Both the bar and brackets seem to be very well made.

    Installed TRD off road shocks

Gained a better ride as well as an inch of lift in the front like most others. Definitely recommend!

(Lift is not supporting weight of vehicle in B/A pictures)

Installed Smoked OEM headlights. Maybe not as dark as I wanted but can't beat OEM quality. Overall I am very pleased!39513EAF-0165-4310-85C8-29FF924DC34D.jpg

Sorry for the late response but I got them from BAM wholesale parts. Cheapest combo of price and shipping for me!

Awesome truck. Now you got me thinking of throwing on 3rd Gen Suspension when I get my Frame replaced.

Do you have the caliraised switch wired up to the diode light bar as:
    Black to black

That sounds right. It’s been a while so I’m not totally sure. I can look tonight.
