Uhh I read differently and it said at least 12 have been made, but no more than 20. 2 are made a year, they are made on request and take 18 months.

Anyone can save most images from a web page by right clicking or post it by copying the image address. That's why you only post low-res so it wont be of much good to them for anything but looking at in a small format, and if it is enlarged it is pixelated. Protect your work. BTW I did not use any special addons or plugins to do this.

Anyway. anyone use SmugMug. I've never been able to copy from that site. A pro friend of mine uses it for all his work because he like the service and the security. It aint cheap but may be worth it. Any thoughts??

    I do.

Use any screen grab tool and you can grab whatever you want. Back to your point.

With the pro account, you can upload as much as you want, limit the size image a viewer can see and all sorts of other goodies besides the customization you can do (Pro and the next one down).

If you're selling, SM handles collecting the money, printing and getting the check to you. You will also get a 1099 at the end of the year. If your customers don't like their print for any reason, SM will see you get another. Pros can choose to delay the printing in order to catch problems in crop/sizing/whatever--regardless of the size the viewer sees, the print is made from the original.

They print at Bay Photo (great company, I know the owner) and also at EZprints--also a great company.

To be fair, I also know the SM peeps too--they are all photographers in one form or another and very passionate about what they do.
