I suppose I understand how they work, I’m just wondering why they wouldn’t expand in a sealed cab.

Take a drive! Go up to "as close as you can get" to the actual corner of VT MA and NY. Very scenic and worth it!

    Pressure differential

If all the air could be sucked out of the cab in a milli second, the bags would inflate themselves without the explosion.

With a blocked out flow of cabin air, some "pressure" would build due to the rapid addition of the air bag volume.

It may be non- consequential, or may not..... A question for those who have actually done the work. Not a guess on a internet forum.

So… I’m not gonna remove the vents. Don’t really think it served me any purpose other than something else to mess with anyways.

It seems like all the airbags going off would build some pressure. From what I’ve heard they are pretty violent as it is.

Looks great! I will probably end up doing something right along those lines! I'm saving now for lift/tires/rims so it may be a bit!

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
So does it need to be special ordered to get that programming? Does it do the same for a ‘19 pro?

do you have the push start or key ignition?

You can find a couple of install vids on YouTube. HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching those.

    Seriously.

The push button is actually fairly straight forward. With a traditional key, there is some small differences.

And if you can afford, go ahead and buy the smartphone module. It makes all the difference in the world.

Jimmy from @N2DesignsInc was a God sent. He helped me with my smart module. A yearly subscription is $40 (give or take).

Again, search YouTube for an installation vid.

    Hope this helps.

To my knowledge all the taco N2 starters function in this fashion. Like @playdixie mentioned, check out the install videos, there is a demonstration at the end to show how the remote start works after install.

My vehicle has the traditional “H” key since it’s a manual transmission. But again, regardless if your vehicle is keyed or push button start the engine should remain running even after opening the door with the N2.
