Why no native 7pin harness and integrated trailer brake controller ?

    The likelihood of someone not buying a Tacoma because of the lack of an integrated brake controller is low. Therefore, the likelihood of Toyota adding this feature is also low.
    I would like a blowup doll in the center console, a feature many times more popular, yet Toyota refuses to provide it.

    It’s been a few years since I did mine, but my recollection is that it’s farther back, up against the firewall and tucked behind some padding. I don’t think there was enough slack to come out that far. But don’t take all this as fact… it’s from my aged memory.
