Had mine go off a few months ago in a series of unfortunate events that lead to me buying the Taco and I can say from personal experience that they didn't seem violent. They seemed like Bay Max dropped out of warp right in front of my steering wheel yelling "Surprise, motherf@#$er!"

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
That was the topper that made me buy a 3rd gen. Thought that was the slickest one I'd ever seen. Very nice addition you have!

If there was a heart button, I would've pressed it. Impressive you got that flex as much as you did with the sway bar still hooked up.

I know what you mean. The price of everything seems to be going up. Saving myself for either trans/diff skids or UCA’s next. Then sliders, HC bumpers, rims and possibly 35’s and a re-gear. It’s an expensive hobby to say the least. Looking forward to seeing your build evolve.

That’s for sure! I plan on doing the rear first since I seem to keep dragging my (useless to me) hitch receiver all over everything lol. Kind of torn between @WarFab Armor and Outgear Solutions. More than likely the former. I know it’s only a matter of time before I tear off one of the plastic bumper caps. Once I get the rear bumper squared away I’ll do the high viper cut to suffice until I get a front bumper and winch.

do you have 5100 shocks on all 4 corners? Looks like the 5100 on the rear is a 1 inch lift but the AAL is a 1.5, they work together? I’m new to piecing together these things. Normally buy kits but I want to become a little more knowledgeable with it!

Yes. 5100’s all four corners. The 5100’s themselves do not provide the lift, they provide the extra travel required for the lift from the AAL. As far as the front goes you can use the stock coils and set the perch at the second to highest notch; the only drawback is the coils are then under preload which is not great if you take it wheelin often. An aftermarket coil with the perch set on the zero perch is ideal so the lift is gained from the coil. e.g., I have the 5100’s with the peach at zero and OME 886 coils, which provided 2.5” of lift for the front. When I go to an aftermarket UCA I will 1) have more wiggle room so to speak for the alignment, and 2) a little more travel (articulation). Hope this helps some.
