I have a bunch of stuff to install when the weather is nice. Tailgate break light (not sure where to take it) bullet style antenna and Subaru kicker tweeters and a TRD emblem for my grill. I’m getting the itch. I want the ray 10 wheels but 16” isn’t being made for awhile so I hear. I’m waiting till summer to do dual fx flowmaster exhaust. There’s new laws in ma for loud exhaust I hope it passes inspection

Finally got around to putting lights in the Softopper. Going to make all the difference camping this summer.

Folding down had no issues. I used a waterproof disconnect for easy folding down and removal. The strips were just cheap ones from Amazon, these ones. I already had under rail bed lights, so I just tied these into the switch for the bed lights.

14” Bilstein short bodies finally came in. I got those mounted up today. Cycled the suspension and set lower shock mounts permanently.

Made myself a four way air down / Air up rig.

Cost me about $120 in parts. It’s cheaper than the ones that they sell at $199 or more.

Took two minutes to air down all four tires from 32 to 15 pounds. And about 7 1/2 minutes to air all four back up with a Smitty Bilt pump.

Swapped in some axles and deleted sway bar. With the 725# coils it feels great!

Went wheeling for 1st time since installing 35’s. Pleasantly surprised very minimal rubbing. Just gonna take a little massaging on the back of fender and good to go. Still need to cut rear fender as that’s where I was rubbing all day. Here’s some pics and video! Pics are at full stuff

That top uses the exact same hardware as a bimini top for boats. The hardware is also available in chromed pot metal and in stainless steel. I doubt you'll have any issues with the plastic hardware though as typically the plastic stuff fails years down the road from sun exposure which yours doesn't have.

I'm starting the exact same project today. Nice work! I doubt I'll get that part of my project done today as I've got way too many honey do's today, just like every day it seems...
