Hey, does anyone know some shops in south central ontario that specializes in tacomas and what not. I'm in muskoka and my build is nearly done, and I just want to get it done.

the only spot i know that "specializes" in Tacomas is a Toyota dealership.
    :cookiemonster:
As many Subaru converts there are, with their infinite number of Subi-only mechanics, that aspect of them did not translate over when they switch to a Tacoma.

most offroad shops know enough to work on any vehicle so i think that is what you should be asking.

All Subie guys are Tacoma fans but not all Tacoma guys are Subie fans.

so watching Subie lift kit videos is a normal part of life for us

No problem we can fix that by putting some 315's on and that should get you down to the 300km mark.
No thanks needed. Just trying to help :):)

I mean Yes, that IS an option. I've engine, transmission, frame swapped it, lifted it a couple inches, jba ucas tundra brake and have one of those lockrite lockers in her rear, like really messed around with it. I just want someone to help iron out kinks or better yet, a shop like justjeeps

I couldn't even start with trouble shooting that. Well at least that clears up specifically what you're trying to do...

Snow wheeling south west style. @19Canuck and I have a loop with about 15 km of No Winter Maintenance roads around St Mary's. Today's run was the first time this year we had enough snow to stop us. The snow stopped another group we came across. The big diesel Ram required a tractor to get out. Great run close to home.

don't know if you want to share of not but just curious as to the "kinks"[/QUOTE I have a misfire in cylinder 3 which shakes on occasion, I've replaced the plugs and wires, but I suspect it has something to do with the fuel rail. After I swapped cab harnesses over, the dash doesn't show CEL's or when I shift in and out of 4 wheel. I dont want to throw parts at it. That and I'm sure there is a bunch of stuff I dont know going on

how did you narrow it down to cylinder #3?

most modern code scanners will tell you, if not you can always go the old fashioned route and point a temperature reader/gun at the manifold exhaust ports and the problem cylinder will read much lower temp than the others (assuming the others are working fine). Then you can pull the spark plug and that will give you clues about what's going on

Taking it to a shop will.waste your money. You already have enough knowledge to figure this out.
Personally I'd start with a compression check of that cylinder and compare the reading with a couple of other cylinders.

Then I'd switch that cylinders injector to another cylinder and see it the problem moves

Same with plugs and wires and coil.

Didn't even ask what engine are we talking about?
