    Finished deadening the doors this weekend with Second Skin Damplifer Pro. Impressed with how much quieter it is in the cabin for only being a base layer, especially considering how much less this weighs vs the cheaper stuff I've used on other vehicles. Can't even feel it when opening/closing the doors. My tC's doors feel like boat anchors in comparison with Noico (I have sheets of both products to compare side by side in the garage). Also addressed some other rattles in the door panels themselves and secured all the harnesses better. It's so nice to not have the doors rattle at all now. Audio does not sound any louder, but it does sound cleaner without as much background noise filling the cab. Glad I picked this up, well worth the time to do on every vehicle. Each front door took ~3.5 sheets (~6 sq/ft). The worst part was unplugging the harness from the driver window switch module. Tbh that was worse than doing the UCA bolts. If anyone has to pull their driver door panel, pop off the switch module before removing the panel and your day will be significantly better. I bought 20 sheets total for the doors and rear wall and have 3 sheets leftover - might apply the rest under the rear seats/storage area next time I get bored (so likely later this week).

    Cross posting this from regional section just because this thread has convinced me that I needed a bunch of unnecessary stuff for my truck lol. Also since my truck is doing better as an investment than stocks or precious metals in the current market, I figured I treat it to some Christmas presents this year. I accumulated this stuff since Black Friday sales, bumper was a last minute impulse buy because I impulse bought a brand new Badland synthetic winch for $300, couldn’t pass it up. Was going to put it on a cradle and mount a receiver hitch up front but then it would just sit in the garage and chances are I wouldn’t have it when needed…At least that’s what I convinced myself of, as well as it would be taking up space in the bed or sliding around etc etc.

    @Snowy spent an entire day in his shop wrenching on my Tacoma Saturday. Temperature was about 9 degrees but with a pair of heaters and some warm clothes it got done. Very much appreciated and agree with the sentiments above that Connor is “good people”. Installation included Eibach Pro Stage 2 coilovers, ECGS bushing, SPC UCAs, BA slimline bumper with 12k winch and light bar, Deaver expedition stage 2 leaf springs, and Eibach rear shocks. I left my house about 6:30am and got home around 9:30pm with a little over 3 hrs driving. Long day, but very rewarding.

    Suspension feels so much better, with the weight of my cap, racks, and tote of stuff in the back the stock suspension was not up to task. I had put sumo springs 612-40s when I got my cap and was riding on those constant not smashing them at ride height but would feel them on bumps. They helped some with rear body-roll in turns but not front or brake dive. The rear has settled so far to about 2.5” lift off the sumos and it might settle a little more. I’m going to park it on a level spot today and check the front. I believe got about 1.5” lift in the front sitting around 22” center hub to fender. The coilovers typically adjusted to give 2”, I’m guessing the 1/2” lower is the added front weight. Might adjust them to 1.75-2” but need to measure on level ground.

    Only issue I had and it seemed temporary and hopefully unrelated, was a horrible grinding then tinny sound in the front that scared the shit out of me on my way home. It had driven perfect for nearly 90 miles and I stopped for gas. Pulling in I think I might have possibly kicked a rock up in between the rotor and dust shield. It made a grinding sound pulling out then kind of a high pitch rotational noise, stopped when I hit a bump, but then started again a couple miles later right as pulling into my house. Went to bed, got up Sunday checked things over, tried shaking driver-side CV Axel etc, nothing looked out of place. Then it made the noise pulling out of my house, turned left and it stopped again. I was on my way to the car wash to spray off the body. Made sure I blasted some water around the front brake rotor/shield area and it’s been good so far.

    Today I plan to measure suspension and think about date for alignment and to get my wheels and tires on. Need to wire up the winch and light so might tackle that too. I have an Auxbeam 8 gang switch for the lights and a disconnect for the winch. Also need to add my flip up license plate bracket and put my plate back on.

    Just finished cranking the drivers side coil a little more. Currently at 22” both sides up front center hub to fender. I’ve got about 2” of rake right now but I think the rear might settle a little more and I want to maintain some rake to sit levelish when loaded. Might crank the front up another 1/2” but not sure yet. CV boots looking good at 1.5” lift. Probably schedule an alignment for next weekend then out on the 265/75s pictured above.

    ended up adjusting up a bit more and settling on 22.5” both sides in front. About 1/4” difference in threads due to taco lean. No change in firmness that I can tell. Probably about 2” total lift with the added weight.

    How much lift did you get that caused your vibration? I've read where most don't vibrate unless it's over 2".

    Yeah it really does feel smoother. I haven’t had it on long enough to figure the mpg with it on yet. Planning on taking it next weekend on a road trip and figuring it out then.

    I’ve never been a huge fan of the stamping or badges on the back of most new trucks nowadays. So, I decided to try some Rustoleum “rugged” peel-coat.

    It matches the bed liner I sprayed my fender flares with but since it’s peel-coat, I can remove it anytime. So far I’m really liking it, I might have it done professionally in vinyl at some point.

    Also picked up my TRD Pro exhaust from Toyota’s 20% accessories sale.
